About Peggy

To roam the earth freely for one day and then to die is freedom. All of my wildlife photography is captured in their natural habitat.

When I bought my Canon 600mm wildlife lens in 2014, I outfitted the lens, tripod and my entire body from head to toe with camouflage along with the camo tents, blinds, and blankets and went out on my river. To my surprise, I found being hidden was just too boring to sit and wait and wait and wait. Therefore, all my camo went into a big plastic bin and, to this day is stored in my basement.

To be able to walk among wildlife and be allowed to share their intimate world is a rewarding adventure in my life. When they pause from eating or when they walk up to me or, I walk up to them and, we stare into each other’s eyes I know we have bonded with the same interest, acceptance, and respect that we have for each other. We see beyond our differences and, without fear, we share the same space as one.
